I've tried them all with my PAF11 amp and the seemingly better sounding one does not work properly with the amp in that the music sounds faint. All of them are on update 1.42. Is there anyway of finding out and would it require opening up the back case and if so is this easy to do? Thank you

you may try cleaning the contacts on the back of the player. a gentle rub with a pencil eraser is all it should take. if that does not resolve the issue, I would look to having it serviced. from your description it appears to be the player. not the amp

Sure. Besides the amazing sound you get a gorgeous device with excellent materials and design and trouble free UI. AK380 is much better than all of these new and fancy DAPs flooding the market nowadays. Hope it helps
