  have you noticed, there are like 20 ak240s for sale in the sale section here……i can't believe they all sell it for the SS version……because they will have to sell these for the 380, AND THEN FOR THE 380Titanium…….which will announce the ULTIMATE AK500 for the simple price of 10000$ and which will make your housekeeping work while singing and dancing for you….

Overpriced waste...blindfolded, none of you could tell a sound quality difference between an ak240ss and this thing when it releases.  CIEMS, now that's a different story and where you're money should go if you want any sort of discernible quality increase.

It's not likely the 380 replaces the 240, but is a higher quality/greater capability addition to the line. Therefore, I predict the price will be somewhere between $4,000-$4,500. The size of the onboard storage will be a big determinate of the final price. Perhaps we'll see a terabyte.

Tidal will be bankrupt in a year or two anyway, Qobuz I can understand.  It's robbery they don't include that with what they command in price.
