Oh so you did end up buying one?! What do you think! I am really hooked on the sound of this thing. The balance of (tweakable) warmth and detail to me is really satisfying. I love the tonality with the STORM + Sovereign Symphony too despite the hit to technicals and sheer drive.

Overall I am happy with this DAP. It’s a great addition to my collection and has definitely its own flavor in tube mode.

no idea how I got this VU meter instead of the “standard” one. I must have pressed something when I fell asleep .
Can anyone share the PDF manual that is on the device? I can’t connect to a computer for a while and would love to know more about hidden settings like this one !

I assume the VU meters is specifically for the T version but can this feature get ported to the regular 3000? That’s really cool.

Has anyone with the SP3000T tried them with the Abyss Diana MR? I currently have the KANN Ultra and not sure if the SP3000T will have enough power to work well with the Diana MR.

@JasonNYC nothing major but I seem to be having some erratic behavior with the LED and the colors it chooses it display. I use Spotify no so high res or DSD quality, and DAR is off. My DAP often shines purple when I turn it on, but when I go to the LED settings it’ll correct itself back to red. All LED options are enabled.

I like the black and red contrast The kickstand will automatically close in and stay closed (there’s a small magnet) when you pick it up off of the desk. It doesn’t add much extra bulk to the back of the case.

Has the side button feel better?
The yellow case has a wrinkle that makes it hard to make out which button is which.

Ah shame thought it would be cutout or smooth to make it easier to differentiate the button apart
The black on red is looking really nice indeed and the stand is quite nice considering its more transportable than portable

Haha, there’s def some quirks with this player but for my ears the tonality and imaging depth are worth it.
