Is the user manual available anywhere? I can't seem to find it on the AK website.

Thank you for pointing that out. I reached out to the web team.Is the user manual available anywhere? I can't seem to find it on the AK website.
A copy of the manual in PDF form is on the player itself. It can be accessed by connecting the player to a computer and looking in one of the folders on the player. I believe the folder is called SP3000T_Contents. When I get into the office I will verify the folder name.

Oh so no physical manual is included in the package?
Just a printed quick start guide. That has been the case with every AK player since the brand launched.Oh so no physical manual is included in the package?

I always like to read through it once, only to forget everything immediately
60 days of Roon is a nice touch. Well done!

I'm almost done with my SP3000T review. Between 7700 words in it already, it will be like a manual
Very helpful! It was driving me crazy not being able to find the manual anywhere.Thank you for pointing that out. I reached out to the web team.

Wohoo!! Been waiting for this one. Can you share any quick thoughts ahead of the review?I'm almost done with my SP3000T review. Between 7700 words in it already, it will be like a manual
Great! Looking forward to reading it. I liked your review of the other player, the N3U.I'm almost done with my SP3000T review. Between 7700 words in it already, it will be like a manual

Excellent review as always. I am currently running and Ibasso stack with the DX260 and PB5. Since you also reviewed these wanted to see if you might be able to offer a sound comparison with the SP3000T? I really enjoy the Ibasso stack but if I could go down to just a single piece to tote around...
Very well written, indeed. Thanks for sharing.
I find the comparison with the 3k very useful, especially since the 3k is now available for roughly the same price as the 3kT. Sounds to me like one offers more variety in the same package than the other.
I know they are at completely different prices, but I would be curious how you find the 3kT sound wise in comparison with the Cayin N3U.

Well, it's not just a different pricing, but quite a different set of features that sets them apart, considering 3kT offers wi-fi/streaming, Bluetooth (Tx and Rx), ROON ready, has internal storage, a more polished advanced interface, etc. But if you narrow it down to sound performance only and consider both utilize a pair of JAN6418 miniature vacuum tubes, I found N3U Modern Tube mode to perform closer to 3kT Tube high-current mode, while N3U Classic Tube mode to be more colored with a warmer/smoother tonality. Sorry, I didn't spend too much time with this comparison, and I no longer have access to 3kT.
Thx. I don't think they are competing with each other, just different takes of the same idea.Well, it's not just a different pricing, but quite a different set of features that sets them apart, considering 3kT offers wi-fi/streaming, Bluetooth (Tx and Rx), ROON ready, has internal storage, a more polished advanced interface, etc. I sort of miss the floating button, but the 3kT compensates by being much faster than 2kT. The only "downside" when upgrading is the weight, 3kT is a heavy beast
