That apotoide app wants a lot of sketchy permissions, and is not available on the Play Store,I had to get it with my browser on my cell. I had to deny permissions and uninstall it

I found an app on the Play Store named M connect, and I am now able to use it as a remote control .Issue is I cannot remember how I got it working lol

So, AK Connect will connect to my cell and let me use my cell as a remote to control my AK?

What is the program that runs in between the AK and the cell,on my cell?

This Mconnect is sweet, tho

Can I please ask you about battery concerns, doing this remote control thing?

This DAP eats a battery like a hungry beast, even on basic mode(But so worth the sound )

Would I be using more battery by using my cell as a remote control or would constantly picking up my DAP to browse and change songs eat more battery? I am an ADHD listener.I constantly play with the play queue,changing and rearranging playing now

If it did work, how would I go about that process?

Do I just turn on AK connect on my DAP and wifi or BT? On my cell, & they see each other? Or is there a program I need in between them?

APK websites can be sketchy. APKPure is pretty safe. Very Google Play store functionality. I used that program to download the AK Connect app. The link was for the apk name, not an endorsement for downloading from that site.

The DLNA protocol is a streaming protocol between devices. It’s been a while since I used MConnect, but if you set the Source as the AK and Player the AK, the AK is the only device draining battery. You may have to keep the MConnect program running on the phone as that is the link. That shouldn’t drain your phone though.

It’s worth finding a clean APk of AK Connect. Try the APKPure app. It has adds, but no malware.

On my AK DAP, I have wifi and BT and BT sink on and AK connect

I get a pairing message from both my cell and my AK DAP(You have to be quick with the DAP, tho, because the message goes away real quick, then I have to start all over again)

I launch M connect and choose "Play to" SP 3000T, and Bob`s my uncle

Do I need all those settings/connections on both devices? I was just being random and am not sure I require all those to be on

So, having all those settings on my AK DAP turned on is not a battery tax? Or is it less a tax than me constantly fiddling with the DAP itself,constantly lighting it up to change tracks and LPs, etc?

Mconnect is WiFi only. It doesn’t use any BT pairing I’m aware.

BT sink is for using the AK as a BT DAC not for remote control IIRC.
