I don't think it's primarily about a warranty replacement, because the end of the tube's lifespan is likely to exceed the standard warranty period by quite a bit.
I think it's more about whether it's even possible to replace it and whether there are enough replacements available.
I think I read that these tubes are no longer being produced and that there are only remaining stocks that will eventually run out.

Yes, the tubes are new old stock military pencil type tubes that ceased production in the late 70s/early 80s. They have an average life of 2500-5000 hours depending on how hard they are driven. They don’t have the traditional tube glow hence the LED backlight.
That being said, there are tens of thousands of these tubes floating around. I’m sure AK has a decent stockpile of these.
Unfortunately, I'm having another problem with the AK.
After about two hours of listening to music, I tried to assign a track from my library to a playlist, but the attempt failed because the message appeared that the media was being scanned. Well, I thought, wait a while, it'll finish eventually – apparently not.
It seems to me that the device is stuck in a continuous loop. The data on the SD card has already been scanned, and after starting the player, this also happens, but only for a short time – and now it doesn't stop.
Restarting and removing and reinserting the card, which otherwise works perfectly, doesn't change anything. My personal impression is that battery consumption has also increased significantly because of this – what's going on?
Hopefully, that's resolved. After some unsuccessful attempts, I was able to reset the AK database. The files were then reloaded, but that took a while.
However, I destroyed my playlists in the process, and had to set them up again.
I'm thinking about selling my KANN Max and upgrading to an SP3000T. Curious about playing Tidal tracks offline. My KANN has the ability to download directly onto the player so I can play Tidal tracks without wifi. Can I do the same with the SP3000T?

If everything goes miraculous I will have my SP3000T at the end of this month,if not certainly by the end of May.
So a few questions that will help me understand and hit the ground running when It arrives.
1. Is there an app like IE HibyLink that I can use to control the A&K from my cell phone(Mine is Android).I connect my DAP(now the N8) to my headphone amp many feet away from where I listen with headphones and instead of getting up to change track etc(I am a lazy yob) , I use my cell to do all that. So is there an app for the A&K sp3000T to do that?
Note HibyLink is hit-and-miss connecting for me on N8 but it has been really nice for months now, but won't connect on all my cell phones UGH
2. How do I connect my SP3000T(that's with me) to my PC in another room? Stream that PC music to my SP3000T
I know someone who sent me pics of successfully connecting the SP3000T to his (Mac?) with plexserver on it. I have Plexserver on my main PC and connect in other rooms with my Win 10 tablet, so I know Plexserver works that way.
The way I understood his explanation is he installed the Plex server on his(Mac?) and runs DLNA on the A&K and it finds the Plex server and Bobs yer uncle?
Is that how it works, that easy?
Is there another way?
I thought I had more questions but I am old and tired lol
I may as well ask for a larf, how would my (soon to be mine) Abyss 1266 TC sound on this device? lol I am guessing under powered awful

Anything thar uses DLNA/UPnP can control the SP3000T. AK connect app is just the AK DLNA solution. MConnect works well too. Same with UAPP and BubbleUPnP. The SP3000T can connect to the plex media server by choosing the PMS as the source on the DAP.
Roon in my experience is the best experience overall. I wouldn't suggest it if the SP3000T is your only endpoint. Way too pricey for just one device.

@theveterans
Thank you.
I am not sure what an "end streamer is mate? Or any of that,and lord I feel daft now.
@sk57rus
Thanks I will look into AK Connect as well
@Daniel Johnston
That is great news mate
I appreciate everones input here,and I hope you all see my posts of gratitude.
It seems here now when I get several people helping me I cannot give them individual thanks as I am only allowed one reply,and when I try to add all to one reply it usually wont work.It is frustrating,but there must be a reason fot that restriction
