Astell&Kern A&ultima SP3000

Since I have updated to the system software 1.42, my SP3000 is not running well. It seems to start up more slowly and usually crashes once or twice before it is ready to go. Often takes 5 minutes or so. Have not had a problem with the player crashing before, but now pretty much every time I use it. Once it has crashed once or twice and rebooted it runs fine for over an hour without any problems.
Does anyone else have that issue? I guess I could reset the player, but would love to avoid it (would have to redownload a number of albums from Qobuz for offline listening).

I haven't had any of those problems. With the latest update, it even boots up faster. It does take longer to recognize the albums on my 1TB SD card though.

Try a soft reset. While the player is on, press and hold the power button for 10 - 15 seconds until the player powers off. Press the power button again to restart.

Which SD cards work best with SP3000 and SP3000T?

The thing fried my 512gb sandisc recently and the second 256gb sandisc isnt always detected on start up, so looking for a new one :)
Just don't buy cards on aliexpress.

There is no volume adjustment when in line-out mode. You’re just trying to cause trouble here.

Has anyone loaded roon arc 1.0.60 to try the new Headphone EQ option? I keep getting this….

I think it must be similar to what was experienced with the browser and login issues on Qobuz.
