Haha, are you saying a customised version of Linux gives a better user experience?Don't both of these players also not use Android OS and instead use a customized version of Linux?

No, just saying Android OS takes forever to boot in general, even with a flagship Android phone.Haha, are you saying a customised version of Linux gives a better user experience?

They do. As user I care about the endresult though. And from what I remember n8ii and 320 max which are android based dont re-scan sdcard on each start up either. I think it might be the right call to make it optional. Button software lock just like with the volume wheel would be a very welcome addition too.Don't both of these players also not use Android OS and instead use a customized version of Linux?
both are true - but they also don't use wifi...No, just saying Android OS takes forever to boot in general, even with a flagship Android phone.
The SP3000M fully bypasses the amp section when line out is enabled.@JasonNYC the SP3000M has the line out feature in the software and it it can be activated in the software but it is not operating as a true line out, it is still using the internal amplifier of the SP3000M. Is this by design or is this another software issue that needs to be updated, and I guess even if it is by design then it is still a software feature that needs to be updated, correct? Thanks in advance.

I am going to take this to the M thread for now and if you could reply there to track appropriately that would be great, my apologies for cross posting again! The SP3000M fully bypasses the amp section when line out is enabled.
When you set the device to ‘line-out’ are you confirming it by pressing “line-out” when you see it on the screen? If you don’t do this you have not activated line-out correctly.@JasonNYC the SP3000M has the line out feature in the software and it it can be activated in the software but it is not operating as a true line out, it is still using the internal amplifier of the SP3000M. Yes Jason got me sorted, I wasn't pressing it a second time once I turned the volume knob and the volume screen came up, I was just doing it in settings and drop down menu. I guess the same is true for the Sp3000 and 3000T?The SP3000M fully bypasses the amp section when line out is enabled.
