Focal Utopia works reasonably well with the SP3k. As does Stellia (I prefer Utopia). I suspect much of the focal range will be okay
I haven’t heard these in many years (my unit failed as it had a non-removable cable and I lost one side) but Beyerdynamic also have the T5p that is designed for portable use.
The Tidal update STILL does not operate the LED correctly or it is not bit perfect. @JasonNYC has informed us all apps are bit perfect though. Qobuz and Apple operate it correctly. Jason…any clarification?
You the man. That worked, and the functionality works on my end after pressing the volume control knob to turn the screen off. Once the screen is off, I can no longer adjust the volume up or down when wheel lock is engaged. With the screen still on, wheel lock does nothing.
I just bought SP3000.
How do I know on the main display which song is currently playing and how many tracks are left until the end of the album?
I meant that the main display does not show the number of songs in an album or folder and nor what song is currently playing.
Other Astell&Kern DAPs have it, but the SP3000 doesn't.

Mine shows what song is playing from which album. It doesn’t show how many tracks are left but that’s not something I care about and it’s to see if you page down.

In the expanded player screen, press the music note icon in the top right of the screen to display current album.playing. I believe this is shown around page 21 or 22 of the manual.

Glad it helped and thanks for explaining how it works, that’s why mine wasn’t working, I haven’t tried it with the screen off.
It would also be really handy if you could disable the three buttons as well or separately so if you’re carrying the unit in a pocket, walking the dog for example, it doesn’t skip tracks etc by accident. I know someone else asked for this ages old but I think many disagree that it would be useful.
