With regard to side loading Tidal updates for Flac support, I’ve checked my Tidal version and it’s 2.86.0. Is this the latest update there is?

Download later versions from apkpure and you can install it yourself without depending on the update from AK.With regard to side loading Tidal updates for Flac support, I’ve checked my Tidal version and it’s 2.86.0. Is this the latest update there is?
I am using 2.87.1 for flac support which I got from apkmirror.comWith regard to side loading Tidal updates for Flac support, I’ve checked my Tidal version and it’s 2.86.0. Is this the latest update there is?
I have been using 2.89.3 on the SR35 without issue. I spoke to the HQ team on Friday, the next firmware update coming in October should have a newer version that supports Tidal FLAC support for the Android app. No ETA on the embedded version of Tidal. With regard to side loading Tidal updates for Flac support, I’ve checked my Tidal version and it’s 2.86.0. Hi Jason. Do you get gapless playback to work ok on that version? I tried it on my SE300 and SR35 and there’s a slight gap between tracks.I have been using 2.89.3 on the SR35 without issue. Version 2.87.1 of Tidal works fine with gapless.
I thought A&K was a closed environment with no access to outside internet.I am using 2.87.1 for flac support which I got from apkmirror.com

Somewhat outdated instructions but this should help:

The page opens but then says Access Denied. Thanks for sending though.Somewhat outdated instructions but this should help:

Try copying or typing the link. Head-fi seems to do weird things sometimes.
Just copy the apk to the services subdirectory. Disconnect and go to services. It should be at the bottom the services page. Select install and then open.I thought A&K was a closed environment with no access to outside internet.

As long as the app is on the whitelist, any version, older or newer can be sideloaded.I thought A&K was a closed environment with no access to outside internet.

You would need to download the APK from a third-party website such as APKPure or APKMirror. Save the APK file to your computer. Connect the player to your computer via USB cable. Copy the APK file to the OpenService folder on the player. Once copied, you can unplug the player. Go to services tab and you will see the new APK that you copied to the player on the OpenService tab. Click the arrow next to the file to install.

Hi Jason!I actually haven't noticed. I will take a listen today.
I recently purchased an SR35 and notice whenever it connects to wifi it automatically drops out again straight away. On the same network my SR25 connects with without a problem, over 2.4ghz I think. The strange thing it can maintain a hotspot connection with my iPhone 15 Pro just fine.
just wondering if this sounds like a hardware or firmware issue to you?

Is the SR35 connected to the 5ghz network? Is your SSID named the same for both 5ghz and 2.4ghz? There were previous problems of AK players that did not like the same named network and have connection problems.Hi Jason!

Try doing a soft reset and see if that fixes the issue. While the player is on, press and hold the power button for 8 - 10 seconds until the player turns off. Press the power button again to turn it on.Hi Jason!

If that does not solve the issue, try reboting your wifi access point.
If that still does not fix the issue, i would recommend a settings reset. Settings -> System Reset -> Settings reset. This will clear all settings and reset them to default. This WILL NOT delete any music stored in internal memory, but will remove any apps installed and any offline music saved. The player will also rescan and rebuild the indexing database.
