Nice but honestly I am getting tired of DAPs that all have sealed in non replaceable batteries. What do you do when the battery eventually dies (they all do)? Is it too much to ask to have a couple of screws somewhere to make replacement possible especially of such high priced units?

Send back for battery replacement. The battery replacement fee is pretty reasonable.

While this is a reasonable request I don't think there are many smartphone sized devices that have user replaceable batteries any more. I'm fairly sure that the EU will regulate this soonish which will change everything.

Pre-orders for silver SP3000 were higher than our initial shipment received. We are fulfilling pre-orders as quickly as possible in order that the pre-orders were placed and hoping to get all pre-orders for silver fulfilled by early November. The black SP3000 should be available without delay if you would rather not wait for the silver. Your dealer should be able to provide you with additional information should you choose to change colors.

I picked up my SP3000 at yesterdays event at A2A. It sounded sublime from the demo but can’t wait to give it a proper listen over the weekend
