I can't speak to the 300. This is what I was responding to: "From a memory, for me the ak sp2kT, even on full tube mode, didnt sound warmer than the sp1k ss (maybe i have a damaged model?)."

Yes im refering to my memory which is basing on my listening impressions From my experience they dont change with time.

For me the SP2000T is a more musical and engaging player than the DX300. I really liked my DX300, found it had really nice wide soundstage with plenty of detail, however I'm finding the SP2000T to be a better overall player for it's wonderful musical sound when using tube or hybrid mode. The OP mode is no slouch but I rarely use that mode, Usually have it either full tube mode or around the middle setting on hybrid mode.

Not that I know of, only internal memory. I just tried on the CA1000 using a browser window and using an FTP program and you cannot see the microSD card. I am certain the SP2000T is the same. I will pass this onto the dev team to see if it can be added in a future update.

So been using for a couple weeks now with my jh audio laylas and definitely more of a fuller sound than the 1km.
now in tube mode and hybrid mode I'm not hearing any difference from op mode thought that it was maybe as I've been using a 4.4mm balanced cable it might be that,
but have just tried my JH13V2 with a 3.5mm and not hearing any change in the sound, subtle or otherwise, going from a 3.5 to a 4.4 is a night and day difference, I have never used a tube amp in the past, so thinking its either me and my hearing or I have a faulty unit

To me the differences are subtle. I use Hybrid mode all of the time. Some IEMs showcase the change more than others.

With my Zeus the differences are clearly audible. As are the filter differences, The Zeus is a very neutral IEM. I suppose if your IEMs have a more colored sound you might not hear the differences. And I'm running a 2.5 PWA 1960.

I have the Roon selection on in the SP2KT menu and the DAP is definitely on the same network (with a fixed IP address) as my Roon Core. No amount of reboots of Core, SP2KT, or Roon control device can get it to show up. One of the attractions to this device vs. a Sony DAP was the Roon ready certification for use at home.

Did you enable it in the settings screen on the device you are using to control Roon?

Yes, enabled on SP2KT and does not show up at all on Settings/Audio menu within Roon. This applies to 3 different devices used to control Roon in my setup (Windows PC, iPhone and iPad). The SP2KT does not show up as a Roon ready device on any of them.

I assume the SP2000T is on the same network as your Roon core, correct?

I would recommend trying one of two things:

1. Soft reset the SP2000T - To perform a soft reset, while the SP2000T is on, press and hold the power button on the SP2000T for about 10 - 12 seconds until the player shuts off. Once it shuts off, press the power button again to restart the player.

2. Restart your Roon Core.

Wait...hold the phone. Just got it to show in Settings/Audio within Roon on my PC. It is connected via ethernet, as is my Roon Core. May be a WiFi issue with iPhone and iPad? The SP2KT seems to be working fine in Roon with the PC though so I don't think it has an issue.

Has anyone paired the full size MDR-Z1R with the SP2000T? I wonder how it would pair with the sp2000t.
