Really a wonderful DAP. I love my SP1K but the T is really something. Like any DAP, it needs good synergy with IEMs, but if you have that, it sings.

I just received an SP2KT about 2 weeks ago that does not exhibit the hiss issue. Great DAP! Really happy with it.

Does anyone compare sp2t with se200? Really like akm sound of se200 ,but looking for upgrade. Will sp2t provide warm sound like akm ? Will it be good upgrade in terms of sound quality ? Thank you

New firmware for the SP2000T will be released tomorrow morning, 3/15 Korea time (late tonight, 3/14 here in the US). The update contains a number of system stability improvements and bug fixes.

1. Is the battery user replaceable?
2. Is the tube replaceable after it burns out?

No, not user replaceable. but Astell&Kern does offer battery replacement service.

Tube is not replaceable.

This is my 4th AK and I've never had to replace a battery. My SP1K is 4+ years old and still has a strong battery. I suppose if you listen to your DAP 24/7 you could wear it out quickly, but....

The tube is supposed to last some crazy amount of hours. I saw it listed in the documentation somewhere, not gonna try and find it now, but it was basically life of the player under "normal" use.
