I was thinking of buying an Astell&Kern A&futura SE300 but I won't be buying another DAP from Astell&Kern.
Another broken DAP in three years, first the AK300 and now the SE200.
Support and help from the manufacturer is practically non-existent.
I also have mid-fi DAP a Shanling M6 Pro and I have no problem with it.

I think it shows up over time.
Maybe it has to do with sleep.
Maybe when the player does not turn off, but it is in sleep mode.
It affects his work
I had the same firmware on both devices
I don't think this should be taken into account as a bug.

Sleep timer in my SE200 is always turn on.

Well, any technique breaks down.
I don't think it's broken.
Cayin n8II may fall apart altogether. a friend like that.

yeahh one of the reasons why I stopped liking AK as a manufacture. very poor product support and new products usually released with pretty old hardware / functionally witch most of the time cant compare to the other manufacture in the same price range or even lower

Yes. You're right. I have written about this before in this thread.

My impression is they have given up on this model. So I doubt it.

I got an SE200 for a month but cannot side load the latest Tidal version. I uploaded the APK onto the OpenService folder, but the device cannot see the APK and still open the older pre-installed version of Tidal. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You have to use an older version for Android 6:
