My SE200 has suddenly started displaying the message ‘Unfortunately, AkMusic has stopped”.
Any ideas on what to do?
Can’t see anything in the manual. Firmware is 1.40CM ‘Running the latest version’, so don’t think that’s the issue.
I’m guessing I need to try one of the System Reset options - Initialize media scan, Settings reset or Factory data reset - but am VERY wary of wiping all the files if I do!

Recommend trying a soft reset. To soft reset - While player is turned on, press and hold the power button for 10 - 15 seconds until the player shuts down. Once the player shuts down, press the power button to turn it back on. This will clear any background processes that are currently running and may be causing the issue.@JasonNYC and anyone else!

Thank you for replying so quickly - I’ve already tried that a few times, as I saw you’d recommended it for a Kann user having the same issue. Have you added any new music to the player recently? If so, it could be a corrupt file. I would also recommend trying a manual media scan as it will fix any issues with the player database. To perform a manual media scan - Settings -> System reset -> Initialize media scan. It can take around 15 minutes for a full media scan, depending on how many tracks you have.

Having an opportunity to get a used se200 as my second "to go" dap for a very good price, have a question tho- @JasonNYC does the se200 still support Amazon Music or Apple Music? Cant find any information, which Android version does it have. Is it Android 6?
Will it be possible to eventually install an older version of the mentioned apps which support the se200 in the future?

To be clear, you have to use an older version of Amazon Music (newer versions require Android 7). Apple Music still supports Android 6.
