Astell&Kern A&futura SE200: First DAP With Multiple DACs - Head-Fi TV

I’m not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but when using Amazon Music HD, it shows the device as only capable of playing up to 24bit 96KHz. I’ve tried playing tracks on the device of 24bit 192KHz before opening the Amazon Music app as was suggested in another A&K thread to fix the issue but it doesn’t seem to work. Is anyone else coming across this issue with the SE200 and Amazon Music HD?

Look at post 224 for why.

If you play a 24/192 track before, Amazon Music will recognize the player supports up to 24/192. Sometimes you need to select the 24/192 track on the player, play it, restart the player, play a few seconds of the track again, stop it and then go into Amazon Music. It's a bug in Amazon Music and widely discussed in all of the manufacturer DAP threads. I was able to have Amazon Music recognize 24/192 on the SE200 using the steps above.

Just wanted to check in again. The SE200 is excellent. This could truly be my one and only DAC/Amp/DAP solution. I’ve been neglecting my Hugo2 ever since the SE200 arrived.

The Hugo2 images wider but the detail retrieval is very close to my ears when compared to the AKM side. The A8000 and D8000 Pro both pair better with the SE200 IMO.

Also, I don’t have the most sensitive IEMs but there’s ZERO signal noise. Dead quiet. Runs cool with excellent battery life.

I was kinda harsh when critiquing the UI and display. Those criticisms are still valid IMO but they shouldn’t deter anyone from purchasing the SE200 because it’s amazing!

Has anyone heard how the SE200 sounds compared to the SA700?

Can anyone suggest good bass iem for Astell kern sp1000 and se200? I am thinking to buy either Empire ear legend x or Roxanne 2 or t9ie.. I couldn't test in my place so couldn't come to conclusion to buy.
Balanced Cable Effect Audio Leonidas II => FitEar MH335DW Studio Reference (Custom in-Ear Monitors). Sounds very good!

Pay attention to Fir M5.
