Are you a thread killer?

Nope. I've posted in numerous threads, and most of them went on after I posted. Some of them even go on forever...

I was for a while there. It was never on purpose.

The trick is so summarize the entire thread to that point, reiterating every detail, opinion or piece of info mentioned, then conclude with all conceivable options, leaving no more to be said.

I've kicked the habit now and try to leave somewhere for the next poster to go.

What do you think?

I have a theory on tread killing.

Either your last response was the answer that was the ultimate answer and nothing else needs to be said. So no one wanted to taint your perfect response. That you response was the very last one.

or

Your response was soo bizarre that no one can relate with your insane way of thinking, that it was best not to comment after your last reply.

I'm getting in the last word. I hunt down threads only to kill them. They must be stopped.

I've gotten a little weirded out sometimes when my post made up the dragging tail of a thread...or several threads. I even posted about it, and people assured me that I had just summed up things nicely. It's nice not to be alone.

BTW, where has redshifter been??

if i remember correctly someone posted a topic about this before and showed a method of figuring out how many threads you kill by using the search function. i don't remember how it is done.

So...are you, too, a thread killer?

Oh yes, I am THE thread killer. A good third of my measly 260+ posts are the last words of what was a lively thread. I blame it on my obtuse, arcane prose that nobody gets, an arnesto case in point.

Did I just kill another??
