I'm discovering that I'm more of a "warm head".
I like punchy deep bass but never muddy and not at the expense of the mids or highs. I like detailed highs that are never harsh or sibilant. Mids can be slightly forward.

Sounds like you would almost like the Denon AH-D5000. Maybe the Fostex TH-600, but I haven't heard that one.

So far the best I've ever heard and own are my NAD Visio HP50's.....beautiful warm sound.
