Lots of back and forth discussions on this.  Is there a final concensus?  Are the titanium plated drivers and same?

From the discussions here S Logic to S Logic plus is just a change in driver location.

Perhaps one of the Ultrasone Trade members can answer this with more authority, however in Ultrasone's own press release statement for the arrival of the Pro 900 September 2008 they state:

"Black Magic - PLUS
With the PRO 900, headphone specialist Ultrasone captivates the professional user market with a new headphone.
Tutzing, Germany, August 12, 2008 – The PRO Series quartet of the Tutzinger headphone specialist is expanding to a quintet: end of September 2008, Ultrasone will start to deliver its’ newest, and the first, headphone in the PRO Series with S-Logic PLUS technology. This technology represents the advancement of the S-Logic System. The result is an impartial acoustic feeling and allows the listener an even more spacious tonal perception."

"Exclusive design and advanced tonal precision blend in the closed-back PRO 900 headphone. The youngest headphone for the professional user from the house of Ultrasone emerges in a classic black design, velvet covered black and silver ear pads and a diamond-cut logo insignia. The headphone includes a new 40mm titan-covered driver, comes standard with the MU-Metal shielding (ULE technology) and the new S-Logic Plus technology. An extremely soft cable (USC-Cable), together with Neutrik connectors, completes the new headphones characteristics. The PRO 900 has a hard-sided carrying case, 2 removable cables (one spiral and one straight), spare ear pads and a demo CD."

From this it would suggest that the Pro900 driver is different to the Pro750 driver.

Here is an email supposedly from an Ultrasone rep.

I asked ultrasone PR if Pro 750, Ed 9 and 900 share the same titanium coated drivers and here is their response:

Yes, the PRO 900 has the same 40mm titanium driver. The frequency range of the PRO 900 is greater: 6 - 42,000Hz. The ear cups of the PRO 900 are smaller but have a larger sound stage, similar to that of the Edition 9. Some of the other points of differentiation are the Nuetrik connectors, soft USC-cable and a carrying case.

Here is a response by an Ultrasone rep on the same thread a few pages later.  He never denied it just added more detail.

Because of the release date, and manufacturing time schedules and of course, everyone wanting to review it, (and me only having officially 1 here, with 1 in reserve), it was difficult to be able to get 1 to our PR company. Therefore, a correction is in order for his statement:

The ear cups of the PRO 900 are the same size as the rest of the PRO Series of headphones.

Hope that clears that up. And yes, Jude has one of them.

I scan a few pages after but no conclusion as to whether the drivers really are identical.  In the GPU(Graphics card) market it is common for AMD and Nvidia to rename a product to a higher model number and sell it at a higher price.
