So as some of you may know there are a ton of posts and I'm really only contributing to the problem, but I've been looking at headroom and their top tens and the ath m50s are on there and for 150 and above that is the d2000 and those are out of the 200 dollar price range and stuff that can be driven from a simple ipod touch
 
So I ask you this. For someone that listens to mostly alternative and indie and a little progressive metal and jazz and classical, very little rap hip hop and no electronic trance or related, are these really my best under 200 option?

If you like a lot of bass get them. If not try something else like the Grado SR80i's.
