It's about (1) putting information in the appropriate place and (2) having courtesy to other forum users. If a person wants to list his or her gear so that others in the forum can understand what that person owns and has owned in the past, I am 100% in favor of that. But I am very much opposed to having that information broadcasted in a 15 line signature every single time that person makes a post. The appropriate place for that information is in a profile. |
