I don't think there is ever a "club" for cans or custom IEMs. I have the Stax SR009 and LCD2 which are considered to be quite good headphones, but at the same time enjoy custom IEMs like my Westone ES5 and UE18 Pro. I admit that I have listened to universals very seldomly, but I still use the ER4P for reference of my speaker system sometimes. And every time I see someone wearing a universal IEM on the street I would feel glad and would never despise them. Apple earbuds, Skullcandies and Beats are the only exceptions...

You despise people for wearing iBuds, Skullcandies and Beats? You seem to take every opportunity you get to flaunt your rather exclusive stable of headphones. Add to that this attitude towards the aforementioned, perhaps casual but music lovers all the same, and you're kinda coming across as an elitist snob.
