And we have update on the page http://www.hstech.com.cn/index.php?c=content&a=list&catid=43
There are KB8 and KB8P firmware 2.29 and utility update.
English version of utility is released and required firmware update:
"Applicable products: only suitable for KB9 and KB9P with firmware 2.0 or above, and KB8&KB8P with firmware 2.29 or above."
Also uploaded to cloud folder https://www.head-fi.org/threads/aptx-adaptive-aptx-lossless-usb-transmitters.961856/post-17298714 as "KB9_KB9P_KB8_KB8P-2.0.0 Assistant"

I checked the last official English version, compared code and found that it just translated version of Chinese 2.0.0, so there are nothing else differences than I made. But they noticed that it also can be used with all devices with latest firmware.

There is a v2.01 or v2.1 (I think), but it is in Chinese
I see but 2.0.0 looks like newer because I found something like "DualStream" support check in v2.0.0.
v2.01 has English translation in "KB8_KB8P-2.0 Assistant" forder.
That switch I named "Enter pairing mode after reconnect timeout (20s)" in official English translation named as "Enter paring mode after reconnect timeout". Chinese version is "重启20秒后进入配对" and Google translated as "Enter pairing after restarting for 20 seconds". Inside the application that switch related to "SwitchAutoPair".

I see the same issue... new official English version works fine for KB8P but for KB9P, it does not show the "enter paring mode" setting.

Weird yours is ok with the KB9P and mine is not, not the official new Eng or the one he modded earlier today.
I had a senior moment and reversed the model numbers. It's the KB8P that's fine on the new English one. KB9P is missing the setting about re-entering pairing mode.

It seems that KB9P has DualStreamSupport so that switch and text label are not visible. I don't understand what the dual stream support used for. Is it streaming same sound to two headsets? Like I Googled "Support dual stream, you can use two different headset with your friends to play one game."

Hi All, I bought the Nura Bluetooth 5.3 transmitter for Samsung s22 ultra to connect to my PX8 headphones. When the transmitter is in game mode (aptX LL) vs. normal (aptX Adaptive), music sounds more detailed to me. This should not be the case, as aptX adaptive should be the "superior" codec.

Here's the thing my headphones do not support aptX low latency, so what codec is it using when in game mode, as the sound detail is different

Has anyone experienced the same with the codecs or blue tooth transmitters, or do you know how I can verify which codec has been selected in Nura Transmitter?

As helmutcheese says, it’s not actually doing the original aptX LL. It’s doing a low latency mode of aptX Adaptive. So, any receiving device capable of aptX Adaptive gets the best of both worlds. The game mode just ensures that aptX Adaptive focuses on lowering latency than music quality. So, it’s the same codec in each condition you referenced.

On the matter of it sounding better in game mode… now that does worry me. I’ll check it out whenever my Nura transmitter arrives.
