I've got a Strike 4 now... just tried it on my PC and the USB interface is disconnecting and reconnecting randomly making it completely unusable. Defo not a normal unit. The seller is asking me troubleshooting steps, I've already said in previous messages that I've tried and didn't work.

Hi, can I ask is there a TLDR version of your experience with Bluetooth transmitters? Like I am looking for a transmitter that supports Bluetooth 5.2 and Aptx-adaptive to connect my TWS to my PC. I found BTD 600 and Creative BT-W4 but Idk which is better or are there other choices in the markets?

Actually i returned the BTD600 to Sennhieser due to drop outs to MOMENTEM 4. It did show AptX Adaptive in the Senn iOS App - which is good.

Disappointing that the colour led doesn’t indicate specifically Apt X Adaptive.

My favourite [for now] is the KB9P. it’s so cheap, you can buy it and then buy another if you don’t like it After all.

Have you considered using the alternative a2dp driver on windows? It makes aptx adaptive obsolete for pc use imo.
You can bump SBC bitrate with it, 550-600kbps works with everything i tried, some devices might be able to do more. You can use basically any regular BT dongle with it, or built in BT if youre on a laptop or if your desktop has one.

Its just a alternative BT driver for Windows 10/11, it can be used with practically any BT dongle. I use a $3 BT 4.0 one(CSR8510 chip), Orico BTA-403 model.

Thx alot! Does it indicate which specific codec is in use? And why would you choose KB9P as your fav? For example, maybe because its stability or lowest latency among other dongles?

Codec indicated by LED colour on the KB9P. It has been stable and has adjustable codec controls via PC app.

I haven’t confirmed latency as I use these for highest quality music playback.

I saw it that you also have the Nura Bluetooth 5.3 USB-C adapter, hows that one compare to the KB9P? Because it takes 3 weeks for KB9P to deliver to UK and Nura is much faster.

Just mind you, this will work with standard bt dongles, ones that you can also connect peripherals to. Will not work with dongles like KB9P that @mcnaugha sent you a link to or the amazon one you linked, those are audio only and are detected as a sound card by the OS.

Yeah if you want to cut the wait you can buy the same adapters under different branding from Amazon and with a UK price hike.

They come from the same source. The supplying factory lets sellers brand them as they wish.
