The sound is rather bright, it's been awhile since I listened to them so I'll not give impressions based on memory. I don't use them very often because I can't stand any brightness longer than twenty minutes

I'll hook them up tomorrow and give some impressions.

Basically, it's got a sound similar in some ways to Stax electrets, but nothing really special. If you want a Stax headphone to plug directly into the headphone jack of an iPod, this would do it. It is supra-aural, and pretty comfortable. Sonically it does not have a lot to offer compared to current dynamic headphones. I'd post in more detail, but then I'd have to listen to them again, and that's not high on my list of things to do.
