Just ordered the new Grace M903 today.
I have enjoyed the M902B for nearly 2 years, mostly with the Grado GS1000k and occasionally with a Sennheiser HD800.

I spoke to someone at Grace extensively before ordering.
They say that no units have been shipped and already there are some 100+ ordered.

Nope, but as an M902 owner, I'm looking forward to hearing all the ways in which my gear is now second rate.

Seriously, I hope you'll post your impressions after you've had some time to let it all soak in.

I am thinking the gains will not be that great, probably will not be like going from a Sennheiser 580 to a 800.
the asynchronous data transfer mode should be interesting.
the crossfeed is said to be about 5% more noticeable.

the dealer told me i will be getting mine this week
#18 of the 1st batch and that series was shipped to all dealers on feb 9th
the head tech guy neil at grace design told me that each are tested and listened to before boxing.
since i got #88 of the m902, i am not too concerned over being an early adaptor

stay tuned!

warmed up for some 10 hours now and listening to with grado gs1000i for 2 hours

key differences versus m902b
1. runs cooler
2. soundstage wider with grado
3. overall more mellow but the low end is strong
4. clearer
5. display is bright white (not used to this)

everything else so far is the same as m902b

i'll let it run loops with apple lossless streams overnight

Interesting, thanks for posting these first impressions. Two immediate thoughts:

1. Photos?
2. RMC sent you a freakin t-shirt? How come I never got one of those.

I've got one on order and may only receive it a month from now.

So it sounds more mellow but yet clearer at the same time?

Can the bright white display be dimmed down? I personally preferred the old 902 blue led..

Pls do post your impressions after a reasonable amount of break-in...!

doing lots of 24 bits listening over the last few days.
m903 presents the full spectrum of the 24 bits data clearer than the m902, it seems.

mostly in the 1700 to 1800 range right now.
my dealer is again out of stock
grace design has a parts shortage
since they hand built each and test for up to 48 hours before ship, it does take a while to make even without the shortage.
my order was placed back in december
