and btw, most dont like me, which again, couldnt give a rip. its all good as you youngins like to say....... ban away, no skin off my back. as far as nate goes, he seems like a nice guy, but i was taught a serious lesson. NEVER SEND DELICATE ELECTRONICS VIA UPS, FEDEX, USPS. will never do it again, he can keep talking same old same old about alerting people about my "screwing" him, but i havent attempted nor will i attempt in the future to sell anything on this forum..... NEVER!

hell, i rarely visit this forum anymore, much less post. im done, i have stax and good sources, which he also said "funded" another purchase, gimme a break. im a firefighter and i have a full time job as well so i make enough money. i didnt need the paltry sum he sent me to fund any further purchases, gimme a huge break. again, nate seems to be a nice guy, im the "scum" as you put it, more power to ya. i couldnt care less really.......

enjoy

Well I never received a response at all. PayPal waited the 10 days and then decided in my favor, but ryanhayn had already withdrawn the $25 so I'm out. Here's the email I just received from PayPal:

Quote:

Dear Jacob XXXXXX,

After careful review, we have concluded our investigation of the Buyer
Complaint described below.

We have decided in your favor, however, we were unable to recover any funds
from the seller's account. As stated in the PayPal User Agreement, recovery
of funds associated with a Buyer Complaint cannot be guaranteed.

Please know that we will make our best effort to recover the funds in
question if they become available in the seller's account in the future and
will take appropriate action against the seller. Such action may include
issuing a warning, a temporary restriction, or terminating the account.
Keep in mind that PayPal uses a number of factors to determine when to take
action, including member complaints. Due to privacy laws, we cannot discuss
the details of any action taken. We hope you understand our policy and that
it assures you that you are safe using PayPal.

Mods, I strongly feel that something should be done about ryanhayn. He has still maintained a presence on Head-fi throughout the entire time. Something should be done.

So he ruined his reputation over 25 bucks. Tells you a lot about the character doesn't it? It could have been lost in the mail, there could be any number of valid things that went wrong, but his account is active and he wasn't bothered to respond. I hope buyers remember to search info about his username before buying in the future.

I have not had the pleasure of doing business with this community yet. I am honored to be allowed to follow your internal credibility discussion. I went thru this thread and thought, man, Ken gets robbed and nobody mentions anything about it. A $25 dispute gets more play. No dis on being ripped, and you should expose the purpetrator for the stupidity and utter lack of class to attempt it. Why would anybody use this site for scams? They would be exposed immediately.

Ken, was this at a meet? If you don't want to make it public, I understand but geez. Glad it worked out.

I'm sorry to interject in this thread with no experience but thought of this site with glowing respect. I am new and am learning the community but it seems to be very well moderated and respectful even when debate is "spirited". This community is "Aces" to us new to the site.
