Anyone hear the Fostex TH900???

Ahhh damn, forgot the Edition 10's! :p
I usually don't remember Ultrasone makes the Edition 10's since they're supposed to be pretty bleh. I always think of the Edition 8 Palladiums ($1700) as their top-end. :p
I'm hoping the Fostex's aren't going to be like the Edition 10's (basically just expensive materials, a headphone rolex).

Honestly, the fact that the D7000's don't have real leather is ridiculous enough. ಠ_ಠ

It does have real leather pads mate, it's the lower models that don't.

Eeeh...When a new pair of pads cost ~120$ retail in EU, the parts description from denon says hand stitched leather and it doesn't melt/take damage if you hold a lighter up to it, I seriously seriously doubt its pleather...

Fostex is Denon's headphone OEM (at least for the D2000/D5000/D7000 series).

wait, one sec I'm having trouble comprehending what this says. So Denon makes the OEM Fostex uses or vice versa?

Fostex manufacturers them.  Denon puts their name on it.

Fun fact, Fostex is the sole manufacturer of the apple ear buds.

That I did know, however I did not know that Denon didn't make there own headphones......kind of odd to pay 1k for an OEM.....

The Fostex TH-900 is being sold by B & H photo/video in N.Y. Their price is $1,999.00 U.S.D. with delivery in 7-14 Days. Man I'm drooling over these. First time I really considered paying over $l,000.00 for a set of headphones. I think they are just gorgeous, they are defiantly on my short list of the most beautiful headphones ever produced. Hopefully will get some listening from a credible source. These appear to be a more labor intensive headphone to produce than a few high dollar headphones on the market. You can research more information on fostex.com website, not the same drivers as Denon, it is a brand new 50 mm unit with 1.5 guass. Happy Listening.

Amazing, I thought it would only be available in Japan but Fostex are also thinking about us :D :D.

I will buy it there as soon as I can unlock the money for it.

We still have to have a Head-Fier that owns it, other than Jude, to give us definite impressions and maybe make a review.
