I think that setting is fine as long as your dac functions with it set at 24 bit. May need to change it to 16 bit if you use a USB hook-up though. What OS are you using?

Using OMZ 4.2 DAC
And windows Vista 64 bit
ASUS D2X

So, what is the best settings for it ?

You using USB, Optical, or Coax?

If its USB then this will work

If its Optical or COAX then you will want to change it to 24 bit. Also if you use ASIO4ALL instead then you can increase the buffer past 1000 is you are still getting dropouts or poping sounds. Also make sure ALL enhancements have been disabled. for all your devices and remove ALL DSP's.

I am using COAX from my card.
So setting it to 24 bit is fine?
What else?

It sound ok, in fact even when it jump to the max for a less than a secone - like 80pS (hard for me to get higher than that, no matter how hard the PC is working) sound the same
As much as I get it, anything below 500pS is really fine and sound great
Not?
No matter if that is 20 or 100 or 200
