"near DVD image quality" well not exactly.. but interesting announcements anyway. Apple site should be updated quickly as they've been down/preparing all morning. Give it up to 15 minutes.

From engadget: We're taking orders today, and we'll ship them in October in plenty of time for holiday season.

Any theories what this means?
"Gapless playback isn't just for new songs you buy. iTunes 7 goes back through your library and unites tracks that were meant to be played together."

And.. i don't think i'm up for the 80GB fat-ish ipod

I think i'm out boys

And I won't be home (or in reach to an apple store in 2-3 weeks)
By then my 30GB ipod would be worth... $100
