pretty sure the new Sony E series supports scrobbling through Zenses, given that the previous generation did, and they're almost exactly the same player UI-wise. Also, the coding behind Zenses is primarily targeted at making sure the Zune works on it, since Ipods already have a lot of people developing for them. I use it on my Toshiba Gigabeat T400, and it works fine.
Alternatively, if you use a Windows Mobile cellphone for playing music, you can scrobble by using the latest version of Conduit's Pocket Player software (not free). Its main advantage is (aside from being a superior alternative to built in WMP) is that it doesn't require a data connection to scrobble, just a USB connection to your PC.
