Hi guys
I have one "Modmic Wireless" microphone that I use with my AKG K701s. This is a great combination for Discord / Gaming. Where you need good sound quality but also good mic quality. (Obviously I also use the headphones for Music / Series).
However, the AKG K701s are an overkill for daily work meetings (Skype / Teams / Zoom). And they are heavy and also not wireless. If I use the K701s for several hours, they hurt my scalp. Plus, to use them I need to turn on the amp (Lyr 2) that consumes 30W. (My PC consumes 65W on idle/light load) so those 30Ws are a lot for work meetings.
Therefore. I'm looking for some light 2.0 headphones, to pair with the modmic and to use for work meetings.
Any recommendation? It needs to be:
- Open back ( i think most of bluetooth over the ear headphones are closed ).
- Light (the weight is the main reason I stopped using the AKG
- Wireless (ideally bluetooth I don't want more dongles).
- On ear (so if I have a conference call I have something more discrete, despite of the attached mic). It should have some space to glue the mic magnet.
Ideally, something on budget. (less than 70€). But I'm open to anything.
