CT10 has good extended low end but not warm. If call it "warm" It sound warm as shalling m2s and warmer than ak120ii or iphone6.
Low end extend as like sp1000.
Detail is there but less than ak120ii also less in separation.
More detail and more flat with less low end, more sharpness on ak120ii so CT10 is more musical and smooth.
CT10 has fast spark treble, equal or more than sp1000ss (but less full in treble range)

Just reporting an issue I have had with the Probuz app (Latest version 5.1.7) on the CT10. After I have I taken the SD card out of the CT10 ( when powered off) so as to play the non Probuz music I have installed on it, on another device or to transfer more files onto the SD card (my Laptops built in reader is much faster at moving large files) and then I place the card back into the CT10, open up the Qobuz app and try to play the the Qobuz music, I just receive an "unable to play this file format message".
This has happened twice. And the only work around I have found is to delete all the Probuz music ( delete all imported files in Probuz settings) and then reinstall/download the music again.

Of course I can ( and will for now) never take the SD card out. Though it's not ideal as the convenience of SD cards is that they can be remove so that other devices can access the files stored on them etc.

great to know...so far CT10 ticks all the boxes, my only concern right now is the output power, on paper seems pretty weak but saw some posts saying it can drive low impedance headphones...i usually listen to metal to more than average volume with IEMs, will CT10 output be enough?!

Dont worry the power.
Output volt is 2.0 max. It is same as output from others A&K.
Actually it can drives 300Omh hd800s to enough loud before turning to max level.
1.5V is enough for hd800s

Is there a way other than using the Open APP Service to put Qobuz onto the C10? I am completely Apple orientated and have no access to Android devices to use the download facilities to install APK files or software. I'd really like to buy this, but this is the one thing that's preventing it for me.

This doesn't require android at all. You just need a web browser and androidfiletransfer.

Pm me if you like and I can take you through it.

Thanks for the help offer. I think I've sorted it. I already had the Android File Transfer from a while back when I had an Onkyo DAP. My problem was that downloading the APK files always activated a safari response that there were no applications to open the download, so I did what I should have done in the first pace and went to the App Store & found Open Files & Open Any files. Outcome is that I now have the Qobuz folder sitting on my desktop with a .com extension (instead of .apk.) All I now need is the C10, which I'll order later. Cheers once again.

The APK file needs to be loaded as is on the player. You do not need to open it first. You would download the APK file to your Mac, then transfer the file to the OpenService folder on the CT10. You can find detailed instructions here - https://us.activostyle.com/blogs/news/open-app-feature-explained

Sooo tempted by this for commuting and work. Even more so as Audioconcierge in the UK have an open box one for £200!

The CT10 did the above "unable to play file format message" and some quick message regarding being offline, in offline mode again today. Even though I have not taken the SD card out since I last had to perform a "delete all imported files in Probuz settings". Though the Probuz app seems to be playing offline music fine now on the CT10.

I'm presuming this issue is something to do with a bug in the Probuz app, sometimes restricting playback of offline files when their is no wifi connection.Has anyone else had this issue with the Probuz app on the CT10?.

I see TuneIn is on the whitelist for the CT10. Does the Tunein app support offline podcasts? In my potential use case, I would have the DAP in my house, on WiFi, downloading podcasts, but then I'd be in my car or out in the world, away from the internet, to listen to my podcasts and music.

Yes, offline downloads are supported on the TuneIn app.

I have a CT10 on order (due tomorrow) and was wondering how it prefers SD cards to be formatted: Mac OS Extended,MS-DOS (FAT),EX-FAT,NTFS or any or all of these.
We recommend FAT32 for best results. The microSD card can be formatted in the player itself to FAT32.
