Whoo! Kool bubba ice, are you going to take one for the team? If yes, I will be really interested in your impressions.

Those look great, I wonder how the titanium housing changes the sound.
But $489 seems rather high for "just" an a900.

Hmm... I'm under this dubious impression that they did actually change the drivers and whatnot. But, who am I to say.

I currently own a pair of A900LTD and A950LTD, and looking at the specs between them and the A900Ti they are similar. I don't think I'll be rushing out to get the A900Ti especially if they sound nearly indentical as the other two limited edition A900s that I already own. Has it been confirmed at only 500 pairs of the A900Ti will be produced?

I think this one is more collector base headphone than for real listening. But anyway, also, interested to see how the titanium change the sound of the HP

I couldnt find a newer thread on the A900ti so i'll post here.
The headphone will be released on 12th december and according to AT it DOES have newly designed drivers (they mention something about diamond technology??).

Also street prices are, as usual, already alot lower. Amazon jp has it for 35000yen on preorder. After its release the price will sink more, which happened to all AT headphones, even the limited ones.

Damn I'm lusting for these.

But I'm a tad "worried" about the 2.5x price upgrade over the regular 900s.

I regret not getting A900LTDs back in the day.
