Hi there guys,

I'm new here so bear with me! Like the tittle says could anybody pair a good amp for a sub 600$ budget for my new cans: Denon AH-D7000. Only 7 hours broken in but they sound good off of my X-fi Elite pro but I want like to push these as far as I can.

Thanks alot,
-Cole-

Hi there. Never tried the D7000, but I tried the D2000. They sounded sweet with a Pico DAC/Amp. And that is 100 bucks under ur budget!!

I used to own D7000's, and I thought they sounded great with my Audio-GD C-2C amp, which is well under $600. I just sold my Denons last weekend, so if the C-2C interests you, shoot me a PM, I might have one for sale.

i just purchased a pair of D5000's and have been trying to decide between the following:

1) Pico DAC / Amp $499
2) Audio-GD Compass $330
3) Head-Direct EF2A $189
4) Ibasso D10 $275
5) Ibasso D4 $219

hands down i would go with the rudistor nx-03!!
it is $790.00 usd brand new,and you may be able to find a used one within your price range!!!
rudistor hi current amps have the best synergy with denons out of all the many many amps i own or have owned!
you will notice the 2 jacks on the rudistor,1 for high and 1 for low impedence phones!
the d7000 a low impedence phone plugged into the low jack is balanced perfectly!

wow nice concept with the two seperate jacks. are there any portable amps that you would recomend for use with Denons? most of the ones i listed above or portable i just cant decide which is the right way to go.

after reading skylab's review of portable amps im really leaning towards an RSA mustang now. anyone have any experience with this amp and Denons?

My RSA Hornet and D7000s are really good together. This little amp can easily drive my HD650s, so it's pretty powerful.

Personally I am not a fan of Chinese Hifi (iBasso, Little Dot, etc...).

ALO RX.
Triad Lisa III
TTVJ millet hybrid
RSA SR-71A
with a $600 budget you can get basically anything portable.
ALO/Redwine Amphora is great as well but its near $1000

good luck. i love my D7000s

I know you put this in the portable section, but it seems like you are running this off your computer. Are you looking for a portable or desktop amp? Are you also looking to bypass the sound card into an amp with a DAC? It would help others make suggestions for your consideration.

I just received the Musical Fidelity X-can V8 a week ago and its still burning in. So far it seems to be an excellent match with the D7000's. It took some getting used to since the bass initially seemed like there was less of it, in comparison to the LD MKIII. But you soon realize that it's midbass is tighter and low bass goes deeper about another octave. Less boom, more texture and definition in the bass. You can find the X-can for around $500 so it's well within your budget.
