I have around $200 and i would like to spend it upgrading my music experience. I'm stuck between choosing new headphones or an amp/dac. Currently i have the M50's. My music varries from Kpop, hip-hop, R&B, house to easy-going songs. Here are some artists i listen to: SNSD, Justin Beiber, Daft Punk, TaeYang, Justice, Jason Mraz, Katy Perry, B.o.B., Big Bang, B.E.P., Bruno Mars, Chris Brown, Ne-Yo, Drake, Deadmau5, Far East Movement, Flo Rida, Jordin Sparks, Jay Sean, and so forth ( I listen to FLAC/ ALAC)
I like the bass impact, but not overwhelming. I like my M50's, but they are sometimes uncomfortable. Also, if it helps, i liked the sound of the M50's before they were burned in. It was "fun" especially since it reached low and had a nice punch to it. I prefer it over the now-burned-in headphones, but by just a little bit
I will be listening through my ipod and desktop equally. I would not mind just having a desktop amp.

Ultrasone HFI - 780
Beyerdynamic DT990 (which ever ohms)

Matrix M-Stage
Fiio E9/E7
Audio GD- Fun
