I'm looking to run the M1060 off an external amp. Currently it's being fed by the onboard audio of a Clevo P775DM3 laptop. It does have an amp, but it sounds very mediocre(my LG V30 drives other headphones better). I'd like something with a relatively small form factor. It will be always plugged in, so I don't want truly portable, battery powered amps.

If possible, I'd also like it to drive low impedance headphones. Although currently I only have the Earsonics Velvet(31-42Ohm, 119dB sensitivity).
I'd like something with as low latency as possible for gaming, so I think S/PDIF input is what I need. My budget is £100-£150 max.

I've seen the following devices:
  • SMSL M3
  • SMSL SD 793II
  • FX Audio DAC-X6
  • Micca Origen
  • Sabaj D3
  • FX Audio DAC-X6
I read bad things about the Origen's THD, not sure about the rest. Is there a more popular brand at this price point? I haven't found many reviews for any of these. Your help is appreciated.

Maybe try JDS labs.
