But yes, very lush and intimate. The bass will become (a little) better as you either get used to it or the diaphragm loosens up a little (depending on your stance on burn in, I guess). Though, they are no bass monster by any means, and the bass was lacking for me as well, even after burn in.. However, I agree that the little box was very nice indeed and that they sound great. I can imagine if mids is what someones looking, then they have a hard time finding better performance/price than the RE-262 (granted, I haven't heard the 1xx-series from Audeo). As for me, I quite like the IE80. The bass is not lacking and the highs are pretty damned good despite being a bit laidback.
You will like the UE TF10s then.
