Hello Head-Fi,
 
What I need from you today is a recommendation of an amp (currently doesn't matter if solid state or tube) that's around $700AUD and that is available to purchase in Australia. So no internationals. I just need an amp, no DAC as I have one. I would like an amp with for headphones with 6.3mm headphone in and unbalanced in and out.
 
I have heard the Matrix M-Stage and the Talisman T33H among others. Currently looking at Schiit Lyr and Meier Audio Corda Classic. Main thing I'm looking for in an amp is versatility in terms of what goes with it (not blowing up sensitive headphones) and low noise/distortion.

Since you're Aussie you probably know the Burson audio soloist SL. Pretty accurate amp, with enough power to drive the HE500 and Audeze. 
 
The only problem is that it doesn't have unbalanced outs.

I should put a clarification here. What I meant by unbalanced in and out is RCA in and out. Sorry for the confusion, I'm still learning! LOL.
