Dear tyrion, please just say that I recommended you to buy from them is ok.

Oh, maybe you can consider Music Series Pro? It's 19000 TWD (567 USD) only. So is the price of RS-1 in Taiwan, the best prices of Alessandro/Grado's in the world!

I bought my MS-2's from Taiwan in January. The price was about $225 + $11 (shipping) + $20 (bank transfer fee) = $256. It's the best bang for bucks. Highly recommended.

i paid 8500TWD (incl. insured shipping to Singapore) for my MS2. ~USD$252. with bank wire transfer fees it goes up to about USD$265 total.

imo, this was the best audio purchase i've made to date. hifi are a pleasure to do business with - thoroughly professional, helpful and quick to reply to my emails.

Yeah that's true... but we also know that it's harder for lower priced merchandise to have the same amount of room of discount compared to the higher.

Is the MS2 that much better than SR325? I wanted to get the 325 but after some reading I'm now deciding whether to get the MS2 or the 325. My brother's going to Taiwan soon so I think he can pick up a pair of MS2 from hifi for me. My bank charge a ridiculous fee for wire transfer.

LOL Zuerst, when have you switched from W2002 to Grado's?

MS-2 is more neutral than SR325 and I believe it should have more details too. It depends on your taste for sound... SR325 is sweeter and rather colored while MS-2 is neutral and faithful to source.

Heh, I never had or even looked at the W2002 as a headphone to get. I'm not ready to spend that much on a headphone just yet. I was, however, looking for the W100 but the search has really frustrated me and I'm now look at some other headphones.

I received a quote from hifi.com for MS-2's delivered to Florida for $260. Then I realized I would have to pay for a wire transfer or pay an additional 5% for a credit card. $273. by credit card, which is still cheaper than Alessandro at $299 plus shipping. Haven't decided whether to pull the trigger.
