Does anyone have besides the AKG K812 also a Philips Fidelio X2?
If so, what are the differences? I have no store nearby to action a K812 but I do have a X2.

I had the X2 for awhile, the K812 is clearly on another level for me (and it's more comfortable).  I actually preferred the original X1 to the X2 - at least it was a fun headphone with a unique sound.  The X2 is much more neutral but there are many better headphones if that's what you're looking for.  When I had the X1 I'd actually still listen to it while owning the K812, I can't say the same for the X2.

The k812 have a larger soundstage and much more transparent sound than the X2. Treble and bass are better, but I prefer the X2's mid.

A Lemo FGG.00.303 connector is used. There is a variant for soldering (FGG.00.303.CLAD35) and one for crimping (FGG.00.303.CYCD35).
