I'm not 100% sure that the quality has been maintained after the move to Slovakia though..

I had the X2 for awhile, the K812 is clearly on another level for me (and it's more comfortable).  I actually preferred the original X1 to the X2 - at least it was a fun headphone with a unique sound.  The X2 is much more neutral but there are many better headphones if that's what you're looking for.  When I had the X1 I'd actually still listen to it while owning the K812, I can't say the same for the X2.
