They're actually really small earphones so I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm not sure that the model has the phones seated properly, or if she's got a loose seal there. Back when I had the K3K, I used meleec dual flange tips so they protruded a bit (similar to how the model's wearing her pair), but with a single flange tip, I think they'd sit fairly flush.

@jpizzle - the k3003 are a shallow fit. they're not designed for deep insertion and don't fit all that securely. they're an understated and attractive design imo.

i am not really into eq'ing and i don't think it is a major problem (however which frequencies would you say are responsible for the mid-bass?)

i saw some posts on the Layla Thread , where people said that

a) they need eq'ing to sound good

b) they are sibilant

and i was thinking how fooled i would feel if i paid 2500$ for a sibilant / in need of eq'ing iem

I really like my K3003 , so no thoughts of selling them (but i would like to try JHA Angie when money is better)

dunno why folks get hung up on using eq - it costs nothing and is completely reversible. mid-bass is around 50 to 100 Hz but play around and find a setting that you most like.

they're also designed to be worn cable down. earphones that are worn with the cable over the ear give a more secure fit.

Perhaps they're not best for my purposes then. I really enjoy walking around the city with music playing and wouldn't want something that may fall out

They wouldnt work for me mobile. They are for kicking back in the easy chair and enjoying some good music. You may want to consider the westone um pro 50. Great sound, good isolation, very comfortable and secure on the move. I can tell you how to get them for around 500.00 from a authorized dealer. Pm me if your interested.

There must be folks out there who travel with these guys and can give their impressions....

they're earphones so they're designed for potable use. but there are other earphones on the market that give better isolation from outside noise and a more secure fit. but if you still want them despite that then get them. they're excellent sounding earphones imo.
