Update! Without even knowing it AKG charged my card for my order in April and I received my velour pads this week. It only took eight months but they are sure nice. I don't find much difference, if any, in the sound and they are so much more comfortable. They are deeper than the stock pads so my ears don't touch and no more schwety ears!

Good news everybody!

I received the 1st of my AKG parts backorders last night, unexpectedly.

So, we have now learned, that it only takes 8 months for Frank to fill a backorder.

The good news is that it looks like maybe the reticulated foam rings for K240 style cans are in stock again. Either that or they just imported two of 'em special for me.

They also shipped me the funky early k240 screw that i cancelled, in case anybody needs one.

I just tried calling frank about a order I placed back in Nov. I got his voicemail... and it was full, so I could not even leave my phone number for him to call back.

come to think of it, out of the 5 times I've called him, he never picked up, and I was only able to record a voicemail 2 out of those 5 times
