wow, well thanks for the responses in my favor, I actually did have a Grado mini adaptor shipped to him to make up for the missing one, and he was happy with that, so I felt much better. He was also curious about why I like the 600's so much... the K701's may be better but I don't really have the right amplification for them while I do have an MG Head OTL which rocks with the 600's. His 600's were in mint condition and in the original boxes and packaging, and slightly newer than my K701's. I hope he enjoys them and I'm happy to have closure.
