Im just saying, the reason people buy Hifiman is for the orthos, you could get the HE-300s but for $100 more you could get into Hifimans signature area with the orthodynamic HE-400/

I agree. If you can find an extra 100 it would open up even more options. 100 dollars is a big jump for some though.

Probably not. Good to see where they are though if I want to buy a pair for a gift. My next purchase is hopefully going to be the TH900s.
