Amazon has the UE Triple Fi 10 on sale for $183, which is a killer deal. I paid freakin' $399 for the M-Audio IE40 (same thing as the UEs). They work great for metal!! Do a search in the forum  and check out some reviews.
 
I'd take the TF10's over the IE7's simply because the TF10 cables detach from the phones and can be replaced if damaged - I don't think the IE7 cables detatch.

dose anybody know how the ie7 sound with what im looking for plus there 120 and are well in my budget range and there have reaplaceable cabels so if anybody has any experince with the ie7s please chime in.
