Acoustune HS1501 AL / HS1551 CU

Okay, this is a totally valid and legit question ...

I'm wondering how do y'all prevent paint chip and your L and R earpiece from knocking against each other when you coil your cable to keep it?

These don't feel heavy in your ears but they do have a pendulum swing.

Also, may I propose an update the title of the thread please, @earfonia ? Think the 1650cu / 1670ss and the Acoustune product line deserve more visibility.

Hi! Sorry I haven't been active on HF for quite some time due to work load. Good idea, but I'm not sure I can follow up this thread anymore, and I haven't been catching up with the new models.

In search and wait for Solaris, I meet this HS1670SS, trying it. it was remarkable for me. Really caught my attention.. Detail High (not sparking like polaris), more Mid, and rounder Low. . and based on memory, yes, similar characters like Green Andromeda in Mid and High, with more punch bass on SS & more detail on High on Andro..

Now, I think this nice little pouch (part of Campfire Solaris accessories) will be just the right pouch for the Acoustune too!

It's available for purchase as an accessories here -> https://campfireaudio.com/shop/ca-mesh-iem-bag/

Well... for now it's a little difficult to get my hands on one of those nice pouch Campfire makes...

So, a little DIY to tide through...

Fits in Acoustune case:-

On separate note... anyone have the chance to hear Solaris and compare with the HS1650cu / HS1670ss? Would be interested to hear your impression.

The HS1650/1670 definitely are promising contenders at its price range, but
how does the AKG K3003 fare up against these flagships in terms of tuning, clarity, transience and refinement ?

I don't have the AKG K3003 but in comparison with SE846, I can say the HS1650 is few levels above SE846. Really love the sound.Even SE846 with upgraded cable can't compare

I did compared briefly the HS1650CU with my modded AKG K3003 + Null Audio Vitesse Cables.
First thing that came to mind is how much cleaner the Acoustunes were and the bass sounded more analytical.
HS1650CU were not harsh at all but overall sounded drier.
In terms of musical presentation I still preferred my warmer and musical k3003s

Acoustune comes with 2 sets of silicon tips.
One is warmer, one is more Neutral.

It's good if you can try both.
AET07 (more bass warmer) and AET08 tips.

Hi all, the look of these caught my attention. All the dang video reviews are in some other language.
Can anyone here tell me how these compare with Sony's MDR-EX1000's?
