Hey Head-fi,

I've heard nothing but praise for the HiFiMan RE-400, and I was wondering if it would be worth it to buy as a replacement for Monster Turbines.  In other words, would I have fun listening to RE-400 for mainly the electronic genres after being used to bass heavy headphones like the Monster Turbines?

If not, would it be safer to go with a similar EQ with the Shure se215?

Thanks in advance.

I really like my RE-400's and they're really accurate in that they don't favor one frequency over another, but if you want to stay with bass heavy headphones, I'd suggest to look elsewhere.
