Ambient it's not!

More easy on the ear:

Meredith Monk - Dolmen Music

Both are vocals, tho...but not songs.

Everything on the Mort Aux Vaches label. It's both a label and a series of CD's. Each CD is made by another mostly well known (think merzbow, oren ambarchi, Troum, Tim Hecker, Michell Akiyama, Pan Sonic and Machinefabriek) ambient artist.
 
And all of the Bohren lovers must try out Supersilent. Similar to bohren but a tad more abstract.
