Saw her on Letterman a few days ago and thought she was fantastic. Went out and bought her album and I think its really good.

Just wondering what everyone else thought about her

A girl that I'm currently seeing likes 'A Fine Frenzy'. I was hanging out at her house the other day and she was checking her myspace page. Her page song was by AFF. It was different enough that I had to ask her who it was. I couldn't believe that she listened to anything but radio pop. Had her misjudged a little, I guess.

A friend lend me their CD a while back, and I was memorized by the fresh vocals, lyrics, and arrangement of their songs--a nice folksy/indie sound.

You can Youtube them and get a glimpse of what they're about.

Yes, pretty good: I picked this up in D.C. last year after hearing it playing in Barnes & Noble. Along those lines I'd recommend people to check out Brooke Waggoner's A Fresh Pair of Eyes if they haven't already.

A story to share:

I was watching CSI:NY (1st episode, session 4) and couldn't stop myself from wondering who was the singer singing the songs for Nova Kent (a single involved in a murder case investigation). Like a curse I went online and trying to dig out everything about that episode, which led me to the actor who plays Nova Kent, and she is A Fine Frenzy herself.

Needless to say I really love the album, and I never thought I will love Indie as much before.
